The only bagworm ever found in Calderdale was found by Ian Kimber and myself on the canal towpath near Byrds Royd heading down to Bradley Hall farm. It was a female Psyche casta as shown in the photo. The area is the one I told Andy C to go down and have a look as its brilliant for various adult moths and their larvae. Its also a very good spot for leaf mining.

Nice photo, it illustrates well that when they pupate, bagworms can turn up any type of surface and become more obvious.
