Great spot Brian, I hope they start moving eastwards, last one I saw was in the UK was in Sowerby Bridge about 2003.

Hi Guys
Dont get over excited by Diamond Backed moths at this time of year as they have probably only "migrated" from the Oilseed rape fields around Wakefield as they are a pest on this crop. The early ones are genuine migrants but these later arrivals are almost certainly of UK origin.

Not had Hummingbird Hawks here yet but given the amount of wild Honeysuckle it would simply be a case of the right place at the right time to spot one. I think I have three records of Hummingbird in the back garden at Park Rd but I never saw one elsewhere in Calderdale
