2139 Red Chestnut Cerastis rubricosa

This very handsome Red Chestnut visited my trap in Hebden Bridge last week. A new entry on the all time list for me.

The earliest I can find is the 15th april so this is a great record..The Hebden/Hardcastle craggs knott wood area seems to the best place in calderdale to find this species...
