What a beauty!

The first of the Mottled Umbers emerged overnight and lo and behold it's a female.It's practically wingless as well as flightless but quite distinctive and should be easy to find by trunk hunting if they are present.Might try and assemble this one tonight.

Great photos as usuall Charlie,if you had about £500 quid what camera whould you go for.???

Something that's fast to boot up and autofocus, focusing down to 1cm, image stabilising, 10+ mega pixels, large monitor that works in bright sunlight.....pretty much everything my camera doesn't have.

No idea to be honest Andy. I've often thought about some of the canon powershot range which seem to offer good value for money and have most of the advantages modern digital cameras have.
