70.052 BF1725  Dark-barred Twin-spot Carpet Xanthorhoe ferrugata

The two spots on the wing are visible but faded similars include Xanthorhoe
spadicearia(Red -barred Twin-spot Carpet) The main wing bar in the main looks more red than Dark see Brian  / Andy's comments

Hi Col,I'd plum for a reddish Form of Dark Barred Twin spot Carpet,as it's got the nick on the upper central bar, more visible on left wing as looking at pic ? Nothing straight forward eh !!
