Black Rustic in the trap this morning
Later in the morning I looked out of the window and saw this hovering around the Buddleia (in the drizzle) !!! - camera to hand - not often that happens. It didn't stay long around 3 minutes then it just disappeared !

Well done David. I have spent a long time on several occasions, trying to get a photo of a Hummingbird Hawk moth. They're nippy little sods. If the weather is cool, I suspect there is more chance of getting a shot. I'm envious.
Well done Dave, I once shot about 20 pictures trying to get a sharp one of one of these feeding from Sage flowers. Not one looked like a moth!
