Butterfly update
An excellent start to the year with 11 species recorded so far...it will be interesting to see if any Painted Ladys or Red Admirals turn up early.The numbers of Peacocks this year have been exceptional , keep an eye out next for an early Small Copper , Wall Brown or Small Heath...Great to have so many new people on board to help with sightings....Cheers

A little bit of encouragement and people respond. Some good all round results this week but that wind was cold today. Comma, Peacocks, Small Tort's, a Speckled Wood and Orange-tips today. All from Shroggs Park and the landfill site but not one at home today ! I don't think I'm going to get Green Hairstreak down here.
