At 11 pm last night, there was a Brimstone moth on our door, about 16 inches from the floor. The rain was being lashed about with a strong, gusty wind. I took one photo and came in. The shot is a little soft focus, I expected that. It's good enought as an ID. This specimen, is the brightest yellow Brimastone I've seen, but it doesn't really show that in the photo. It nust be a fairly new moth.
