Does anyone fancy a chilli night round a moth trap. I recon on one of the milder nights if we can pick one we may have some success despite it being the 'closed season'
This cant happen at Withens Clough however as the car park is closed till the autumn due to civil engineering works.

yep ,,Im up for it..may be in Hardcastle Craggs.?? and also will be time to go seaching the high rock faces around the moors edge looking for anomalous larvae and the large one we dont mention.(Bri knows what I mean): ).
I'll come if it's a Saturday or Sunday, can't do any other nights because of work

Hi all, nothing to do with me as i`m not in your area, but i thought i`d let you know the temp for next Tuesday night is forecast to be 10 deg C.
I hope it`s right and if it is, i shall be venturing out on my patch with lamp & net.
Thanks dean will get the trap ready for tuesday....The next warm ish sat we will head for the craggs..I will get some sort of permission off the nat Trust.
