Round the house................

Scarce silver lines top found resting ,a selection of Burnished Brass and a Pinion Streaked snout found in spiders web ,just in time,,, managed to let it go before the spider got it..The list below shows the species I have caught with a torch and net recently within a 5 minute walk from the house..

Luddenden this week

Some great Moths this week in Luddenden included this Beautiful Hook-tip (what is the status of this in Calderdale and Yorkshire Andy) - 107 species of macro in the garden so far this month.

Last two nights.

Been out with a head torch and net for the last couple of nights and can recommend any one giving it a go.Head torch's are about £9.00 and a net £10..

A bit out of practice but had a go last night. Caught a nice Scarce Silver Lines, I think thats my forth one here over the years, also probable Lempkes Gold Spot and 4 Dagger species.
