Lee Mount - 17th August

 Best of the last few days has been these two..

Pretty sure this is a Chevron though the markings are well faded

Yellow-barred Brindle (only the 3rd record for here)
Plenty of Yellow Underwings - the five usual sp.
Copper Underwings agg have also started to appear with 3 last night

yes that's one of the darker Chevron type's Dave. I usually get Yellow-barred Brindle every year but none so far this year, probably due to the poor weather in July

I recall my last Yellow-barred Brindle - not a clue what it was until you put me right !!! We could do with some improvement in the weather.
