Speckled Wood

My first Speckled Wood butterfly of the year, this aft in Sunnybank wood, Todmorden. It is only 2 days later than last year when it was a heatwave.

Amazing how speckled Woods have colonised calderdale.In 1990 there were well scarce and now seen from north,south east and west.Allways nice to see...
