Hi Andy, thanks. We have been away on the Isle of Arran, (lots of heavy, continuous rain). As for butterflies around Stainland, I've come back with my old war wound kicking in. (I don't talk about it, brings memories of being a Desert Rat, you know.) Hehehe. Anne has seen 4 or 5 Speckled Woods and 1 Small Tort in the garden, also several unidentified whites through the window. Once I've come round, I'll start going walking locally, with a camera, to see what I can find.
