What a great photo well done,How many did you manage to see as NCD reported 6 there on tuesday.Once again great photo of this difficult species.
Cheers Andy, I had just the one was very surprised to see such a great looking moth out in the middle of the day. Are they common?
They are not rare and seen in Birch woods from Elland to todmorden but rarely come down from the tree tops ,so the photo is rare.They fly in bright sunshine in march.
