Caterpillar ??

A strange looking caterpillar found by Steve Blacksmith today at Kebroyd on a beech near the river. Any ideas ??

Update from Steve - he found it on wildlifeinsight.com -  Pale Tussock Moth after a search for 'white hairy caterpillar'.
