Weekly round up

 Figure of eighty
 Metzneria lapella
 Pug sp (maybe worn V ??)

 An excellent week at Northowram with the full moon coinsiding with the peak Ghost Moth emergence on Wednesday with over 300 males lekking and females flying between the lekks looking for a decent male.
 In the trap Burnished Brass,Plain Golden Y,Beautiful Golden Y,Silver y ,Dark Spectacle,Spectacle,small angle shades,Common Footman,Green Carpet ,Figure of eighty (pic above)brightened up the rather grey skies , a strong emergence of Freyer'pugs,,loads of Ingrailed Clays(all shapes and sizes) and more Heart and Darts than Ive seen for years.This pug above is interesting but no idea what it is.??This  Metzneria lapella  is a first for me here of this family.
