Less Small Midget (Phyllonorycter froelichiella)

Don't you just love the old English names for micros - shame they're not more widely used. Infrequent (?) this one in Common Alder. Key points are multiple, long mines per leaf with a reddish/brown spot where the side vein meets the mid-rib. Each mine has a larva and frass pile visible.

Found at Copley village by the Calder a few days ago.
