Chris & Robin from the Countryside Service are holding a moth trapping event on Norland Moor. Wednesday 11th October from 7pm.
We are meeting in the car park opposite the pub and then heading onto the moor to see what is about. Hopefully the weather will be suitable.
If anyone wants to join us they are welcome to come along (your moth ID will probably be better than ours!) if you want to bring any lights, generators etc then feel free!

Looks like it will be a wild one , but may be worth setting the trap in the first quarry to shelter from the wind. I will be up about 6.30 if anyone wants a lift....cheers

Last night was good, tomorrow will be good - the only day we plan it will be "wild"!!
