second night of the massive heatwave, I decided to run all three traps and recorded 63 species of macro plus what seemed like thousands of micros
Scalloped Shell & Rivulet were the pick of the bunch

Rivulet - quiet regular here this is the 12th

Another one a bit special there Martyn. Seemed like thousands..... of micros here last night and this morning. Most scattered as I opened the trap. Think there were quite a few macros returned from yesterday even though I took them some local distance away. A Double Square-spot and Poplar Hawk-moth were about the best of not much new overnight. !
