In case you can't tell. This is a take-away style tray with a section of stocking (unladdered) around it!

Winston, having only reared three successfully I'm certainly no expert so I can only tell you the way I did it.I opened the leaves carefully and any with pupae in (inside the papery cocoon), I cut as much plant material away ( to reduce mould forming) and left in a ventilated jam jar for emergence.To keep the leaves fresh for as long as possible whilst the larva are still feeding I kept them in an airtight jar, occasionally opening it to let out any condensation, else mould may set in.On one occasion I let a leaf dry out totally and the emerging moth struggled so much to escape it was practically wingless! The trick seems to be to control the humidity. HTH.

I will try to prevent the mould and the drying! I believe that the Larvae have successfully transfered themselves to fresh leaves but have not drawn together the limp offerings, and I don't blame them. Not that hopeful that the will pupate. If not I may resort to digging up plants!!!
