Interesting Day

4th site for Ringlet Butterfly today, Boothwood Res, Embankment.

Later on Turley Holes Moor, Crag Vale, found Northern Egger (male) in flight and a 2nd year caterpiller of same, sunning on a boulder. While looking at the cateriller a Beautifull Yellow underwing flew past and landed briefly on our legs, then flew again. A few Common heaths around as well.
