a great night it was too

I think it's only right that we chip in for a new genny for Brian as we all share it, we'll put in £20 to get it started

now how about an unbreakable bulb for Andy, maybe made of Titanium?

I'll second that ,

Hi all. Actually I disagree with Martin in a way. I have always thought that keeping the generator up there was a bit risky and if I ask myself would I do that I think the answer would be no. However (and there are three big howevers).
1) Its a right pain dragging up a heavy generator all that way. I have a geny and havent done so ever.
2) We have relied upon the geny / trap net and storage pots and box of Brian for ages now all without any payment etc to him. This has been fantastic and he deserves a hearty thanks.
3) Similarly Andy's equipment has been used for our moth nights and his blog has focused our activities and is bringing us together as a more cohesive group.

so three cheers to Brian and Andy for these reasons

hip hip... hip hip... hip hip - Hurray.

£15 from me :-)

Ithink we have had great value for money over the years on the successful and not so successfull mothing advntures

maybe we could all bring it along to the next night.

Thanks to all,we are meeting on Sunday night at knott wood(weather permitting)for another night at this brilliat site. The reason we keep going here is that Brian is doing a year long survey and is very glad of our help.I will give Bri a ring this week and tell him to get another genny and maybe some sort of trolly so we can lig it up there every time.CHEERS

Hi all

Maybe we need a stretcher like thing to carry a geny up the muddy path. Not sure about the steps though?
