Micro Moth Ypsolopha sequella

Heres a pic of the Ypsolopha sequella approx 11mm,

which feeds on Field Maple and Sycamore,that  came to the light on National Moth Night at Hardcastle Crags.I persevered with a Stacking Technique of taking a series of photos at different Focal Points,a challenging idea with a living Moth ! This pic was the result of 17 pics each one manually focussed and stacked together in order to get the complete Depth of Field from front to back,unfortunately there is still slight movement of the outer part of the anntenae,this was the best of 3 series of pics of this Beautiful Micro Moth,which was released after.Camera Canon 40D,60mm Canon Macro Lens with a 13mm Extension Tube .Regards Brian Leecy.
