Green Hairstreaks

The first Green Hairstreak was recorded today in Mythomroyd,(thank Matthew Br) Matthew also reports 4/5 Emperor Moths flying on Midgley Moor today...Speckled Woods , Peacocks , Small Tortoisehells , Orange Tips and Small Whites....all out in good numbers

Good do there Matthew. I managed my first Speckled Wood today, that's the best I could do.

Thanks David. I found my first two speckled woods too, texted Andy to tell him who replied saying to keep an eye out for green hairstreaks. Less than a minute later, this beauty appeared
