Lesser Celandine. I always thought of them as Woodland plants in Calderdale but here on the Llyn they appear just about everwhere in huge numbers. Link to entry in wikipedia

Its just that it seemed rather stupid not to know the name of something so prolific. Win
There is a flower, the lesser Celandine
That shrinks, like many more, from cold and rain
And, the first moment that the sun may shine
Bright as the sun himself, 'tis out again!

Lesser Celandines are a lot later out this year as lots are much later after the proper winter no doubt,usually out feb down this end anyway,regards Bri.
