This is my latest Burnished Brass by 10 days, it turned up last night with canary shouldered thorn,Black Rustic ,Yellow Lined quaker and the last of the large yellow underwings.
On the same date in 2005 when I went to the trap in the morning there was the first Black Rustic for calderdale in there along with the first Merville du Jour for 85 years locally and my first ever red underwing.Thats the beauty of running a trap on a regular basis you just never know whats going to be in there. in the morning................!!!!
Re ..Black Rustic in 2005.... I recorded 3 in October so far this year there have been 56 now thtat progress

Great stuff Andy, our trap will be running tonight after this!
Hows it been going up there ,havnt herd from Midgley latley....
To be honest we have been away most weekends and don't always set the trap midweek as we don't like leaving it unemptied until evening (we both leave very early for work). Having said that we did run it last night as promised and had Blair's Shoulder Knot, November Moth, Red line Quaker, Common Marbled Carpet, Autumn Green Carpet.
And a Red Green Carpet
