Fly Flats

I did a 'recci' today at the far end of the reservoir in anticipation of Haworth's Minor ! Last year I found 36 on 2 nd October feeding on the flowers heads of Ragwort. I think Andy found 44 a few days later at the same spot.
Bad news.... - not a sign of any Ragwort where it was last year, just some dead heads of Sorrel ( I think) and surprisingly a clump of Teasels but definately no Ragwort.
There may be chance of some on the reservoir embankment but I didn't have time to go down there to check today.
Whiteholme drain might be worth a check in the next week or two.
