In come the Painted Lady's


Mytholm waste ground Hebden Bridge was busy with butterfly's today in the hot sun. 3 Painted Lady , 1 Red Admiral , 2 Peacock , 1 Comma , 3 Small Copper and Small and Large Whites,,,2 Holly Blue and a Small Copper in thge garden at home.

Didn't find much today other than Speckled Woods - 5 along Hag Lane (track behind the ski-slope) along with a few 'whites' and a single Small Copper. 2 Speckled Woods as well at home.

I did that walk on Tuesday evening had about the same , but the steep fields look good going down to Shibden Mill Inn.??Too many places not enough time..........
