Sallowing Trip

To make things clearer I am starting this thread. Does anyone fancy going Sallowing at Cromwell Bottom on Tuesday night. Forcast at the moment - Light wind (5mph), Dry and 8 deg c (until 9pm). The sallow is now out. Bring walking boots / a good torch / a net if poss / plenty of patience!
Anyone interested?

Yes I'm up for it Winston, although the 5 day BBC weather forecast (if that's the one you use) it next to useless in my opinion.

I have a net, torch, pots etc. If last year's effort was anything to go by it'll be more a dusking trip rather than sallowing but that's OK. There seems to be more moth activity this spring than last so it should be interesting.

I cant manage mon or wed sadly.

Charlie, do you want picking up from the usual place?

I do use the bbc one but a better one (sometimes) is Metcheckwhich does a 10 day forecast. Both of these are often wrong and prone to short periods of wild predictions. Better to look at the general trend of the weather over a longer period.

Yep, a lift would be great. Same place and maybe sort a time out nearer the day.

I've got some sugar left over from last year but reckon there will be too much competition from the sallows so will not bother me thinks.

The way my moffing luck's going this year we should see something spectacular!!
