Looks like I've got my work cut out with these, then. I nearly went looking for them at Park Wood today but weather conditions made me change my mind....Domani!

Rather pointless trying to do anything in todays blustery conditions. Here's hoping for a calm day tomorrow, then I'll give the Park Wood 'streaks a go.

On Monday, conditions were overcast most of the time so only had 5 or so tantalising views of what might have been Purple Hairstreakss. Location was in the canopy of Oaks by the top car park of the Crematoria grounds. Had an equally brief view of one Wall and another solitary Red Admiral. I faired better filming Speckled Wood on brambles plus a very obliging mixed tit flock and a young fox right out in the open.
