Calderdale Moths , Butterflies and Dragonflies: Beginner's naive questions.

Are these both Meadow Browns and is the moth a Silver Ground Carpet? Any recommendations for species guides would be much appreciated. Cheers.

I had my beer hangover as well this morning which why I checked I was not missing something ! My hangover was caused by my drowing my sorrows at England winning and having at least another week of the "boring cup" to endure, thank god its only once every four years !; 24 June 2010 at 08:35
Iain G said...: Ah looks like I was right in my initial observations. The upper wings took some seeing in the field. All the pics I saw on the web showed only the underwings.
