Green Hairstreak?

Spent this afternoon up on Midgley Moor looking for Twite and Emporer Moth, sadly no luck with either but we did have what we think were a couple of Green Hairstreak butterflies, is this likely? We have a couple of photos which I can upload if needed.

Yes thats possible. Were they on billberry?

If they were green with b&w striped socks and antennae and the right size then thats them!

Highly likely you spotted Green Hairstreak as they are around on most of Calderdales uplands.
