Yesterday
One Painted Lady bear the former Withens Pub.
Lots of Small Whites mostly heading north west after brief stops mainly on Ragwort and Thistles which are now coming into season - good !
Only one Green-veined White which was surprising.
Ringlets all over the place especially the Cold Edge area. A few Meadow Brown, Large Skippers and a couple of Small Skippers and a few scattered Small Tortoiseshell.
4 Silver-ground Carpet Moths and 2 other medium/large day flying moths which avoided identification unfortunately.
