Tar Hill Beauties

A patch of thistle, rosebay, raspberry and bramble at the top of Tar Hill rugby pitch, Beechwood Park (access off Whitehill Road) and it was alive with butterflies (and grass moths) including 2 beauties....

Small white (pretty sure)
Green Veined White
Small Skipper
Meadow Brown
Ringlet
Speckled Wood
Small Copper
and saving the best till last - White-letter hairstreak
