Stainland.

For some reason, butterflies have been scarce in our garden this year. We do have plenty flowers, but perhaps will get some butterfly friendly ones for next year. The good news is, we have a lot of bees of various types, as several hoverfly species.

I've seen three Small Tortoiseshells over the last week and three whites. Non of them wanted to settle on any flowers, so I was unable to photograph them. The white I saw today, (and the only one I could ID) was a Spring brood Large White.
