Hi Colin, Appreciate the comments/photo's on the Grass-veneer types and the Eudonia of course. I will not give up on these tricky subjects but I guess there is a limit for some species especially when it comes to gen det with some species.

hello David THhe Eudonia lacustrata is well marked it is one of the few that stand out from the crowd and is identifiable
again the facial cone provides a differential . on the veneer -in the absence of gen det Good Luck with the rest C

Thanks Andy ammended Opinion on the Footman ?

Its tricky unless you see them , was it big..?? They are getting commoner each year .Clay triple lines is nice.

Colin D said...

Larger than the CF but on its upper size range but notably bigger and different i'll make an exception on this one and gen det it to be certain of reecord time permittingA as trhe Buff is likely under recorded due to its id difficulty

I think it is Buff now looking at it again....
