I found this yesterday practically on my back door step. I've given it a good looking at under the microscope and keyed it down to Tineidae per Sterling and Parsons micro guide (who knew their palps had bristles!). I think it must therefore be Infurcitinea argentimaculella.
The larva does construct it's own case whilst feeding on lichen but even though it's quite closely related to the true bagworms it just a Tineid.
A new VC record I think unless there are some records awaiting to be entered.
