Hi Andy
Latest date I have on MM is in July. There are often weird flight times with one off moths around at the wrong time. I had Common Quaker on the 12 December one year in the garden. Neither I nor Ian Kimber were positive enough to claim it and I sent it off to Harry Beaumont who declared it was Common Quaker and the latest (or earliest!) record for Yorkshire so far. When I posted on UK Moths about it I got messages from around 10 people who had also has Common Quaker in Nov or Dec in various years.

Hi Andy
Its been peeing down since Sunday teatime but at last the sun is shining this afternoon and the place is warming up again. Decent temps and plenty of sun forecast for the next week or so, the trap will be out again tonight. Feeding station for tweeters now set up outside my office window. Chafinches, Tits and the resident Robin the only visitors so far apart from two now deceased Grey Squirrels. The site owner bumps off all Grey Squirrels as A/ they take birds eggs and B/ they damage the caravans.
