Now here's a proper moth

The first of my Luffia lapidellas  ( = Ferchaultella) emerged this morning. It's a female (as they all are) all 2.2mm of her. She had a bit of trouble locating her old case with her ovipositor to start with so I opened it up a bit under the microscope. She then started to lay eggs for the next five hours or so before dropping down to the ground to die in the not to distant future.
