3am this morning; A small magpie moth had settled on the fanlight. It was gone this morning, as is so often the case. I had to use my zoom lens. The photo was taken from about ten feet away, so there is quite a bit of digital noise. It's only the third one of this species I've seen, it was a nice surprise.
