2 White Letter Hairstreak here yesterday.
In previous years I had

All of my records arent from making a lot of effort these are just ones I have seen at ground level or low down. If there is this many low down there must be plenty in the extremely plentiful Elms we have here

Still not seen WLH yet!
i think if you find an Elm in Calderdale they will probably have WLH on them....they seem to have spread throughout the area now....They are not easy to see but often come to lower levels to feed on flowers and thistles...
I think Milner Royd has some WLHs, I'll try my luck there......
Just need a bit of sun....
