The Withens (near Ovenden wind-farm)

Just by the road opposite the mast yesterday we noticed a number of black dots on a large patch of nettles. Closer inspection - Peacock Butterfly caterpillars, probably several hundred all told.
Any returning juvenile Cuckoo's might show an interest !
