Just testing, the blog was locked recently by Blogger as it flagged up as a possible spam blog, now resolved (if this post works!)

Nick Carter said...: I don't claim to understand it but as far as I can gather Blogger must scan the blogs on the system to check for any that might be spam (ie not genuine), the Calderdale Birding blog must have flagged up as a possible spam blog so they mailed us to see if we were genuine, all it took was a reply to validate us.; 18 July 2009 at 05:00
